In the dusk of our teenage, we all are worried about our future. Being in a technical field, there is an ocean of opportunities that can be considered for a career. And the one big question in front of us is, whether to take a job or be self-employed. So, let us start by introducing what exactly service and self-employment means. A service or a job can be defined as a paid position of regular employment whereas self-employment means working for oneself rather than working for an employer.
Well, while both the options have their pros and cons, the creativity of being self-employed always tingles feelings and pulls towards it. Imagine yourself working in an office, burning the candle at both ends”.
Doesn’t it sound like a bad dream, doesn’t it? Choose not to make that your reality. You must consider yourself as an indulgent who is open to new ideas, opportunities, innovations and would like to implement them the way you want rather than the way somebody else wants you to.
A platform for all the enthusiast individuals to express their opinion with guidance of the experts, reach out if you too want to grow with us.
Being self-employed means being your own employer to execute your ideas and plans, it means you work 12 hours a day for yourself so you don’t have to work 8 hours a day for someone else. There is an opportunity for exponential growth in a business which is not quite possible in jobs as they display slow growth, e.g. you have to wait for a year for an increment whereas a business shows regular growth. We would prefer to exhibit my creativity in the career than be a linear thinker and not just do what’s being told
Conclusion: Security is the one big advantage and the reason for preference of service whereas self-employment comes with the risk of jeopardizing your job. But what great can be achieved without the presence of risk because wise men say only fools rush in. you must love to turn your passion into your job rather than finding a job that matches your passion. You must be more obedient to your ideas and plans than to an employer. You must be more leaned towards exploring new ideas rather than being a linear thinker. You must be bound to take risks for your goals than be secure. These qualities instincts you to go for self-employment. As Mr. Sandeep Maheshwari said, ‘Business is an art rather than science”.
